Buffco Production Inc. reported a 2010 Pettit discovery in Cherokee county (RRC Dist. 6), Texas. The wildcat is located on a 48 acre lease in section 240, Greenberry Jenkins Survey, A-459. The Longview TX based company’s #1 Tinsley flowed 2.2 million cu ft. per day from acidized perforations at 8,950-58 ft. Gauged on a 10/64 in choke, the flowing tubing pressure was 3,665 psi and the shut it tubing pressure was 4,115 psi. The vertical wildcat was drilled to 10,100 ft. and plugged back to 9,960 ft.
