Privately held Buffco Production completed two wells in targeting the Eagle Ford in the Briscoe Ranch field in Zavala Co. The Howett #10H was drilled 14,620 ft MD (6,492 ft TVD) and flowed 650 bopd and 400 Mdfd, or 716 boepd (91% oil) on a 14/64-inch choke. The Howett #9H saw output of 750 bopd and 350 Mcfd, or 808 boepd (93% oil) during a 24-hour test after being drilled to 14,566 ft MD (6,509 ft TVD). The company filed one permit in Dimmit Co. for its Votaw #1H well also targeting the Eagle Ford in the Briscoe Ranch field.
